It’s been a while since I’ve touched my camera. While my life has been changing around me, at least something is still the same— I can’t stop taking pictures of sunsets. Winter is making its departure and I think I’ve captured it once more.

I’m pretty sure I just posted this, but I don’t know where it went. Here I go again:

Day 365- Here it is. The last photo of 2012. The last photo of this project.

And it’s a frightening image of Emma Stone.

Don’t get me wrong. I find Emma Stone to be an attractive young lady with a sense of humor (or so I’ve been told), but editors always botch her face with the editing for some of her cosmetic ads to the point where she resembles a fish.

I, too, am disappointed that this was the only photo I captured on the last day of 2012.

Day 364- Yeah, yeah, yeah. I’m embarrassed that the only photo I got this day was a self-photo in the mirror (to add to the injury), but the only other thing I captured was a video of some stranger in Target asking a little boy if he’s ever heard of “a great band called One Direction” and started walking around and singing a song loudly. This skirt was given to me as a late Christmas present from a friend. It was a good deal! $6! Unce.

Day 362- I have slowly collected so many coats and jackets over the years that I have more outerwear than I do of tops and normal t-shirts (to be fair, I really only wear three tees). The disappointing thing is that where I have been living since late 2008, the weather doesn’t permit for much usage of 75% of my wardrobe. This year has been quite the tricky one since it would be very “cold” (however you may define “cold”) for a few days and then immediately return to the humid 80s. Anyways, so I put off unpacking my winterwear for the longest time since I never knew when I really would get to wear it. After a few mornings in the 40s for a week straight…it was time.

It actually happened over a five day span because I got lazy. I would pull out my box of coats and leave it there for a few days, then throw it all out on a chair and then get back to it another day later, but regardless, day 362 was when I finished it all.

All of this nonsense to inform the follower that because I finally did what I needed to do and cleaned my room, I had space to make this 30 minute project for my sister. She has an affinity for the color pink and has been wanting little arts and crafts in her apartment, so no matter how easy or horrible my things turn out, she displays them (or so she says… but I’ll take her word for it).

When my six-year old nephew saw it, he just laughed and said, “TREES DON’T HAVE BUTTONS!”. So I guess I don’t have his approval, but I can’t win them all.

Day 361- Ever since I started school, my name has been constantly joked as the breakfast chain restaurant, IHOP. I swore to never eat at such a place for I’ve lived too many years of breakfast jokes, but I ran a few chores with the mister (I promise that this is the last time of 2012 you will read “the mister”) and quickly found myself incredibly hungry and craving crêpes. The first location that came to mind that would serve breakfast foods at 4 PM was IHOP, so there you have it— I succumbed (to my fears?).

Beforehand, we were at Target and ran into the lovely Alex (lanuiteternelle)! A very pleasant person to bump into when one is stressed out from store hopping and disappointing finds.
